The Questions That Have No Answers..

Why? Why don't you care? Why weren't you there for me? Why are I not pretty? Why am I not smart?

All of these have three things in common;

1. They are all questions that are asked a thousand times every single day in every corner of the world in every
    language on earth.
2. They all begin the exact same way, with a single word, why.
3. They all have no answer.

Through my entire life people have always asked me the same question, the same question that everyone in the world get asked every single day, why. Why are you chewing gum? Because you can be? Because you enjoy it? or simply, because you are, there doesn't have to be a set reason.

People will always tell you that you can't just do something because you want to do it, you have to have a reason for doing it, but what if you don't? Maybe you decided that you wanted to jump off a bridge, okay so I know you actually wouldn't, at least I hope you wouldn't, but after you do, people are going to ask you, why did you do it? Now maybe there was a reason, you thought it looked cool, you wanted to act tough, but maybe there just isn't a reason, you simply did it.

In todays society however that is not an acceptable answer, of course its not, if you don't have a reason then there is nothing for people to pick apart, to try to tell you what you did wrong,they have nothing to criticize, and that is what they fear the most, not being able to humiliate and ridicule people for the choices that they have made in life. Its pathetic how society has turned one word into something that can simply be used to make a mockery of people.

In school a teacher would come up to you and say, why didn't you do better on this test? How is a child supposed to answer that question, and that right there is part of the problem, they know you have no answer, they know that because there is no answer it hurts you, degrades you and makes you feel like you are worthless. Asking why you didn't do better is like asking why you have 2 eyes and only one nose, there is no answer and sometimes people just need to accept that there is no answer and never will be.

So instead of asking why someone isn't smart enough or pretty enough, try asking yourself, why do you even want to know? to see the look on their face when they don't have answer? For the self confidence it gives you to feel like you out smarted them, so you feel superior standing beside them? Take a look at yourself before you ask why and think about how you feel when you get asked that very same question, one, two, maybe 100 times every single day..
